Suspenders, Glasses, Calculator? Check!

So...college is kind of boring at the moment...

However, I did ace my Collar Quiz in my Textile Industrial Complex class (I obviously rock for this). Papers, quizzes, exams, reading, blah, blah, and more blah. Just college work. I now say "college" in sentences rather than "school."

Example: I need more notebook paper for college.

I totally forgot to mention the other day how when Mom and Kim came up to Auburn we checked out this amazing cupcake shop called Gigi's Cupcakes. It was adorable! I got a hot fudge sundae cupcake...the icing tasted like ice cream...to die for!!! It was simply amazing!

When Mommy Comes To Visit

This just so happens to be one of my fabulous finds on Etsy. The gold chain is vintage Chanel, the pendant is also vintage, and the turquoise chain is not vintage but is still awesome! This little beaut' came in the mail today...Mom and Kim (older sister) brought it up to me (as well as my magazine)!

So here's the story...I was went in T.J. Maxx one day and found this beautiful, genuine leather bag, but it was $70 so I left it. A few weeks later, I went to another T.J. Maxx and, to my surprise, it was there, too! I thought it was fate, but I looked at the price and left it, again. I convinced myself that whenever I went back to T.J. Maxx if the purse was there then it was fate for the two of us to be united. Today, I walked into T.J. Maxx, went straight to the purse section, and there it was...the beautiful, convertible strap, studded, caramel leather, messenger bag...it WAS fate...I knew it...
I got the September issue of Vogue today! Hooray! It weighs more than all of my college books combined!

College kind of rocks so far...check back with me once I have papers due and exams all on the same day, but for now I am enjoying the experience!

Saturday, I moved into a dorm with my best friend, Kristen. I start classes Wednesday...so, so far college is great! Just kidding! Classes will be great too...hard, but great! I didn't get much sleep the first night in my dorm, but the second night I slept like a baby. I'm pretty excited about this whole college experience.

Last Thursday, my oldest sister, Kate, graduated from Montevallo with her graduates degree. I think that's pretty impressive and (obviously) a wonderful accomplishment! Congratulations Ka!
