Summer Heat

Hello lovelies! As I have not been blogging all summer, I thought I might update you on a few things in my life. At the beginning of Summer, my family went to Disney World! Ah, yes...that place is quite magical, isn't it? I finally finished up my English Composition classes! I know each and every one of you is excited about that one. Every single morning, except weekends, I woke up to walk almost two miles with my mom! I found a new appreciation for French style with a fabulous new book...buy a copy because it is worth it (and I said so). Recently, my old roommate moved in to her new sorority dorm...we will both miss living with each other so much! I move in with my two new roommates to our apartment soon! I am looking forward to getting back on a normal schedule...not the studying...or walking in the blazing heat which sucks the air out of your lungs as soon as you walk outside. I cannot wait to find my own new adventures this year! This upcoming second year of college will be a great experience for me! Hopefully I can keep up with this blog more often, so stay tuned!

I get way too many strange looks when I tell people my major in college is Apparel Merchandising. For all you lovely people interested in fashion (or anything else, for that matter), don't listen to those people who bring you down. Do what you love. Love what you do. Enjoy every second of it, simply because it makes you happy. Be the best you can be at what you love, but also be smart about it.

Well, well, well my pretties.

 It's been a while, but I've been living...who knew that could happen?!

So, I've been asked to blog by this girl...check her out! Her blog life is a little more interesting than mine...for now...

Today, I went to my first Chemistry class. The teacher was telling us all of the graphic horror stories about accidents with chemicals we would be using in the lab. Well, all who know me know that I pass out at the thought of a drop of blood. Yes, I passed out...in the middle of class...and when I came to, class had been continuing like nothing had happened. Yep. I sure felt significant in that class room.

After another series of events, and the fact that I would have to skip a test to go to DISNEY WORLD, I dropped the class.

Anyone see any llamas lately? I did. Watch Romancing the Stone, and you will too.

At this very moment I am avoiding studying.

I would pretty much rather be doing anything than studying...even going to the dentist. It's that bad.

I would just like to prepare you guys for the picture you are about to see...it is probably the best picture in the world.

Just so you know, I am being the second cougar in this picture, Kate (my oldest sister) is very afraid/astonished by this first cougar, and Bryant (Kate's husband/my brother-in-law) is running from the first cougar.

We, clearly, love the wilderness. I happen to love this indoor wilderness a little more. I'm an inside pet.

Speaking of the fabulous red purse swaying at my side, it is Kate Spade. It was originally $200. I bought it at T.J. Maxx. I spent $60. 'Nough said.

Even When You Are A Good Driver...

Well, tonight a deer hit me. No I did not hit a deer...it hit me. I was driving back to college from home when I saw a deer about to cross the street. Since no one was behind me, I stopped the car. The deer passed so I let my foot off the break when BAM!

Hello deer number two. I didn't realize you had an appointment to meet Sophie today. Oh, it was a walk-in appointment?

For you (including me) animal freaks out there, the deer was fine.

For you (including me) car lovers out there, Sophie got a little bruised around the tire. :(

I never thought I would be one of those girls who doesn't hit deer, only gets hit by deer. I am that girl, apparently.

Today, Mom and Kim (sister) picked me up and we went out on the town! Okay, really we went shopping and to Olive Garden...I feel your judgemental eyes, and I just don't mind :)

Once again, I bought tons of candy. Maybe I will take a picture of all of this amazingness that I am engulfing, or maybe I will keep you guessing.

We went to T.J. Maxx (because I am now addicted...thanks Kate), and we found a beautiful red leather Kate Spade purse. O. M. Y.* It was originally a $400 bag, but at T.J. Maxx it was $99! Golly gee I love Kate Spade!!!! If only I had a job...Oh wait, if only I had a job that actually gave me hours...I'm just a dreamer, though.

Dear Kate Spade, I would love to buy everything you create. I would also like to work for your New York store. I pinky promise I would clean it and take care of it and treat it like my own...Wait, we aren't convincing our parents to buy us a puppy, are we?

Lovely people of blogging-ton! Greetings (I'm a nerd)! I haven't posted anything new in a while because I have been busy doing college stuff and things. Stuff and things...HAHA English teachers Mom and Kate! Don't hate me.

So today I went to class at 8 A.M, picked up some frozen food at the store on campus for lunch later, went back to my dorm, and took a nap...a really long nap. It. Was. Great. I had other classes...yadda yadda yadda...then I went SHOPPING :)

I went to Old Navy, T.J. Maxx, and Target...

I love Target, but not when they play hide and seek with creepy toys with me:

Pocket Full of...Llama??

Lots of posts today, huh guys? Well, that's what happens when I am bored...and have already taken a nap...

This little fella came from my oldest sister for Christmas. We all have them now with each of our first name initials on them. The only difference? Mine is gold because I love gold jewelry. My family knows me so well :)

I got this little guy at Christmas. Isn't he adorable?! However I have no name for him/her yet...any ideas??

Maybe I will take him/her with me so I can take pictures of him/her in random places...maybe I won't...maybe we will have to wait and see...maybe.

In case you guys didn't know, I love llamas. I'm not entirely certain how this love came about...it just happened.

Good Deal of the Day: My oldest sister, Kate, called my older sister, Kim, and I while we were at dinner one night. Kate had found all of our sizes in the classic white Converse on BIG TIME sale! She bought all three pairs for less than the original price of one pair! Bargain dance!*

I did not take a shower this morning...7 o'clock came very early this morning. I wore basically exactly what I woke up in. I am a tiny bit of a bum. Don't judge me. Hmm...I think that is all so far this week. As of now I am cuddled up at my parents house smelling the delicious dinner being cooked. I will go back to the dorm later tonight...but right now, home sweet home!

Friday, I think, Mom, Kim, and I went to Auburn so I could walk around and find where all of my classes will be for this semester...I'm paranoid I won't be able to find them...sue me.

I got this dress from the Loft. It is so comfortable!!! In this first picture I wore a belt with it, but I actually didn't wear the belt that day...just so you know.

Handy Dandy

Today started just like any other day. I rolled out of bed (like it was a hassle), slipped on my slippers, put on my glasses, looked over to the floor, and...there was a lizard! The little fella was just chillin' by my monkey bag.* The lizard looked exactly like this:

When Mom came home from work, she captured this little guy with my pink butterfly catcher.** My hero.
