Dashiki

Sequins. Stripes. Tan Leather/Suede. Get to it people.
Oh, my love for sparkles...and stripes....and LEATHER! I love pretty much anything with well-made leather. No joke. I don't joke. I'm a serious person. That's a lie. Sometimes.
The past week (Thanksgiving, duh) I had gotten used to sleeping late, so this morning hit me...hard! I came back to my dorm after my early class and took a nap. I'm a granny, okay? I will also go to bed at 4 o'clock and take out my dentures and put them in a glass of water beside my medical bed. I sleep in a muumuu sometimes...okay, that's a lie...it's a dashiki...

SHINE

'Ello lovely. I hope everyone had an amazing holiday and (for college students) week off! If not, I'm sorry, but you missed out on some amazingness...too bad for you. Maybe next year, eh? Maybe you just don't enjoy lots of good food and having fun...luckily for me, I enjoy both of those things. I also like my family...that might have something to do with it...
Over this enjoyable holiday (questionable for some, apparently) I bought some new jewelry...it's expensive these days, but ohhh so worth it...hmmm. I like squishing jewelry together and taking pictures of it. I like shiny and sparkly things...so what?

Turkey Time

I am thankful for my hair...for it being so healthy and amazingly soft so I am able to do whatever I want to it. I am thankful that I am not attached to my hair so I can have fun with the colors and cuts of it...
How was everyones' Thanksgiving??
Mine was AMAZING! My mom and dad's sides both came to our house for Thanksgiving lunch and dinner. It went so well, and it was so much fun!
I am thankful for having such a wonderful family that allows me to just be me (even though I force the real me on everyone already...why be anyone else but me?). My remote family are, literally, my best friends. They are always there for me...my shoulders to cry on...my piggy-backs to ride on (Yes, I am four.)...my foundation...the most amazing people in my life. Thank you, family, for making everything fun and wonderful and relaxed. You complete me..**draws heart-shape with hands in air**
(Sappy moment above...beware)

Sparkley Sparkles

I am so excited about Thanksgiving! I am ready to be done with classes tomorrow so I can go home for a week! Granted, I live close enough that I could go home every day anyway, but this time I get to stay without worrying about classes!
If you haven't noticed...I love black.
I also just bought these Steve Madden boots...they are absolutely beautiful! I want them in black (surprise) and grey (surprise, again)...they are perfect! This scarf came from Target and so did the striped one that is hanging up to the left of the pictures. The one I am wearing in the pictures has subtle sparkles in it...I like the sparkles!
P.S. Why haven't you guys found me a llama yet?

Oh My Llama

Recently, my oldest sister, Kate, and her husband, Bryant, went to Utah for a wedding.
She took this for me:
Look at that amazingness!!!!!! I edited the picture so it had a cloud looking haze around the beautifulness...I'm not weird, you are.
Oh, alpacas and llamas...how joyful you make my heart...
I've been trying to find a llama stuffed animal for the longest time! I found one, but the person never contacted me back about it...I was very sad. However, I will not give up!!! I WILL find a llama stuffed animal!
Side Note: I love HERSHEY'S HUGS more than I like most people.

Holly, Jolly

I LOVE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.
I also love this outfit.
I also love spending time with my family.
We went Christmas shopping today. It was AMAZING! I love Christmas shopping and Christmas and the cold and the coats and the decorations and the happy Christmas spirit in people! People always seem to be happier around Christmas...maybe I am just so happy at Christmas that it makes me delusional...it could happen.
I hit my head tonight...hard. I was getting in the car and I didn't duck down far enough so I hit my head...haha. No worries, world, I'm alright! My head may be a little tender for a while...but all is well with Leah!
Enjoy your days.

Third Person Talking

Guys! I have not posted nearly enough lately! Forgive me, AGAIN? I thought you would, AGAIN...
My week has been busy, and it's only Tuesday! (It is Tuesday, right? See?! I've been so busy that I can't even keep my days straight!)
School, food, school, food, work, food, school, sometimes food (or snack), sleep...
PLUS: I have a cold.
It's horrible.
You should really be thankful that I took a picture of my outfit today. I was rushing out the door with my hands full of books and my random stuff and I thought to myself, "Leah, you not only are a full time college student and have a part time (amazing) job, but you also are a blogger. You must be a responsible adult (even though I don't believe I am an adult until I pay for everything of mine on my own) and be a freaking amazing blogger! Chin up!"
Side Note: When I talk to myself, I call myself Leah.

Gettin' Chilly

I have had a REALLY busy week! Forgive me for not being amazingly quick and witty? I thought you might.
Today, I started job training at the Loft! The Loft is an amazing, well-priced store with trend-related clothing and accessories. I am thrilled to be a sales associate for such a wonderful store!
Ahh...good ol' cheetah print...my favorite new scarf! I adore that the weather is getting cooler and cooler!! I love everything about cold weather! I love the boots, the scarves, the sweaters, the jackets, the coats....ohhhhhh the coats....
The one problem about working at the Loft? I need to buy more clothes...oh yeah...such a burden... ;) I am so excited!

Haunting

Ah yes...Halloween was this past weekend.
My family always (since last year) has a Halloween party at our house. We decorate the whole front part of the inside of the house to be spooky and Halloween-ish...so fun!
We also ALL dress up in some sort of costume...even my Memaw and Granddaddy!
Good ol' sister time...minus one sister...
My mom and dad were pirates...my sister was a gypsy...
And I was a Freudian Slip...haha!
We're number 1! In tiny form!!!!
Maybe we were obsessed with this...
What did you guys do for Halloween??
